“STEAM 4 GIRLS” —> A 4-week program full of fun projects to inspire young girls!
What is our goal?
STEAM, which includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math, is a increasing popular field for our generation. STEM jobs are growing rapidly and our future is dependent on new technology, science, etc. Our goal is to inspire young girls to go into the STEM field by exposing them to the field from an early age. We want to get them excited and interested about STEAM.
Additionally, as many of us are quarantined at home due to COVID-19, we hope this program will be fun and interactive for your children.
To achieve our goal, we have planned out various easy and fun STEM projects for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. These include science experiments (like building a volcano), activities (like coding), and crafts (like making a catapult).
These will be taught over live Zoom session on Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays for one hour. This program will last for four weeks, starting on July 13th and ending on August 7th. We will be conducting these sessions two times in a day to accommodate your schedules.
You can view the projects and material lists for each week by clicking on the Schedule tab. Attending all meetings isn’t mandatory, so you can join whichever activities you wish to do.
This is a completely free program, and we are hoping you will join us. We are excited to work with kids. So, if you are interested in four weeks of fun, click on the “Sign Up” tab and register!
NOTE: The first week of our program has already passed, but please feel free to still sign up. We do new activities each day, so your child will have lots of fun!
